now also is the use of microprocessor control as opposed to
the logic control of the previous models. This allows the
use of remote control which is what most customers have asked
for in a follow-up model. Emulating all manual controls on
the amplifier, the remote control also adds a mute function
and is available in the standard model as well as the all
metal version for an added premium.

by Deon Schoeman, AVSA Magazine February 2004:
...The
result was an inspiring listening experience, and one that
led me to discover new details, new nuances, and new emotions
on discs and vinyl records I thought I knew intimately. The
Exclamé dutifully served up the musical fare, always
providing a smooth, honest and transparent musical image. ...The
Exclamé 100 qualifies for a lot of adjectives. Incisive,
pacy, boisterous, authoritative, beguiling and musical are
only some that come to mind within the first half-hour in
this amplifier's company. But throughout the review period,
I kept on coming back to one description: revealing.
...The
Dynaudios are renowned for their transparency and three-dimensional
soundstaging. They proved the perfect partners for the Exclamé:
together, they made the music blossom and expand well beyond
the apparent, physical boundaries of the listening room. And
with so much space, all that detail was allowed to come into
its own, too.
When
I swapped the Dynaudios for my notoriously difficult-to-drive
Celestion SL700SE Mk II reference monitors, I expected at
least some of the euphoria to be rationalised. But the results
were even more impressive.
